Psychologist in Mokotów

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Warsaw and am currently pursuing postgraduate studies in cognitive-behavioral therapy. I am also working towards a Ph.D. in psychology at the same university. Originally from the United States, I have been living in Poland since 2017. Previously, I completed my undergraduate studies in psychology and Polish at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I am a member of the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (PTTPB) and the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST).

I gained clinical experience at the Mieczysław Kaczyński Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Lublin and the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, as well as issues related to relationships, procrastination, perfectionism, and identifying and transforming maladaptive schemas.

I approach each client with respect and openness, using evidence-based therapeutic methods from cognitive-behavioral therapy and schema therapy. Additionally, I strive to stay current with the latest empirical research to ensure my clients receive safe and effective support. I regularly subject my work to supervision.

As a scientist-practitioner, I conduct research primarily focused on psychotherapeutic interventions and problematic Internet use. I am part of the e-MPAT (e-mindfulness, psychotherapy, and technology) Lab at the University of Warsaw, which conducts research aimed at integrating new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, into psychotherapy.

In my personal time, I have a deep interest in Polish and American literature. I am passionate about music, both listening to various genres and playing instruments. I am also interested in technology and its impact on daily life, which is reflected in my research. In my free time, I value spending time with family and friends.

I offer consultations in Polish or English.
